Yeah, Baby, Yeah!

Today Ashley and I went to the little Dr.'s office and confirmed that we have another little one on the way! Kind of hard to tell if it's a boy or girl at this point (I'm guessing GIRL), since the little one is only about an inch long at 10 weeks along, but you could see the little heart working away on the ultrasound screen. So if you do the math, you'll find that this blessed little child was likely conceived somewhere in international waters between Alaska and California. Some say it's the "motion of the ocean," personally, I think it's the Love Boat re-runs that they show on the cruise. Either way, your prayers are appreciated. Ashley has been feeling pretty icky in the mornings (I know this because I awoke this weekend to the sound of my bride munching saltines in bed at 7AM). Yummy.

Looks like mid-May for the expected arrival date, they'll be scheduling this one ahead of time since Avery was a Cesarean birth. We WILL be finding out what we're having sometime in January. Until then, the name game has been suspended like a World Series game. :)

  1. Well it's got to be Juno or Princess (cruise line) for a girl and maybe something nautical for a boy!
    Congrats on the good news.

  3. Even though you didn't ask, it looks like we are offering name suggestions. So if we go 'love boat' then I would suggest something like Isaac (picture the snap of the fingers followed by the 2-hand point at the camera). But my real vote would come from another boat:
    boy: Gilligan
    girl: Ginger

  4. Congratulations on the good news! I'll pray for a healthy mom & baby. Regarding Darren's comment, I've always been kinda partial to Mary Ann.

  5. Great news...He'll probably be a leader type, therefore, "Skipper" would be very appropriate.
    Praying for you guys.
